Atakan Köse is an Istanbul-based film director and screenwriter, born in 1995. He holds a degree in Cinema and Television and a master’s degree in the field from Beykent University. His international experience in Baltimore and Amsterdam has shaped his cinematic vision and storytelling approach.

His films have received international recognition, with Parallel earning festival nominations across Moscow, Hong Kong, and Pakistan, and Haze receiving multiple awards. His socially conscious works Flooded and Duvak explore environmental issues and women’s rights.

More recently, his AI-assisted short film For Better or For Worse has been selected for numerous international film festivals and won Best AI Film awards worldwide.

He is also the founder of Twentie’s Film, an award-winning production company where he writes and directs commercials, combining cinematic storytelling with live-action, CGI, and AI-assisted production.
